Texas - AEYC is responsible for the education and training of T.A.E.C. members and their families. The book preserves the services of the late Dr. William H. "Buck" Jones, who, in addition to his many teaching posts, was also Vice President of Texas AeyC and a member of the Board of Directors.
He was a member of the Texas AeyC Board of Directors and the executive director of T.A.E.C., which is based in El Paso. He was trained as an assistant, ranging from a high school teacher to a university professor, a professor of psychology, and an associate professor. He was responsible for the education and training of over 1,000 members of the T, A, E, C and their families and had a major impact on the lives of many of their children and grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Yankton College, once known as Harvard West, and is now housed in a minimum-security federal prison, where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology.
The Texas Association for the Education of Young Children, which is provided by the Texas Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS), requires that all scholarship holders be employed in a child care program. Early childhood in TEXAS offers the opportunity to work and teach about why and how important early childhood education is for children and families.
T Texas is a project of the Texas AEYC, which provides children and families in need of early childhood education in the state of Texas with access to education. There are more than 1.5 million children under the age of five in Texas, and more than 2.2 million young children are in poverty, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHS). The T Texas Early Childhood Education Program has an annual budget of over $3 million and the Texas AeyC is the largest single source of funding for child care programs in Texas.
The Texas Association for Education for Young Children is a subsidiary of NAEYC, and there are many local chapters throughout Texas that support early childhood education for children and families with educational needs in the state of Texas. The Austin chapter of TXAEYC is one of them, but there is no doubt that the Texas Early Childhood Education Program and T Texas are part of a larger network of organizations in Texas supported by the National Association of Early Childhood Educators and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHS). The Texas Chapter of the AeyC, the Austin Chapter, is the largest and most active chapter serving the City of Austin and its surrounding counties in the field of education and child care for infants.
