I will let everyone know from a first-handed review of this restaurant since I've worked there for over 3 years.
I have worked at previous places for corporations much larger than this privately owned franchise and have never seen such a business run so unprofessional as well as witness the rude customer service that we as employees have unfortunately been able to do nothing about regarding the ability to please our customers when management felt differently about a situation that clearly required immediate attention such as roaches crawling across the table or even the buffet line.
Buffet Palace in killeen is privately owned and not affiliated with the other ones located in Austin. It has been infested extremely badly by roaches and rats for months. Many customers have left due to this extreme lack of disdain and care for customer service that the owner has displayed as well as the failure of reinvesting into his business in order to alleviate these problems.

Two of my friends and I just had lunch at Buffet Palace. At the end of our meal, while waiting for our server to bring the check, one of my friends noticed a cockroach crawling on the back of the booth we were sitting on. I quickly stood up and waited for an employee. When our server arrived, we pointed out the pest and she quickly got the manager and owner. By the time they arrived, the roach had retreated back into the booth. The owner came over to the table and comped ONE of our meals, and walked away. When we got to the cashier, one of the ladies in our party politely asked the cashier to retrieve the owner again, unsatisfied with the way the he handled the situation. Upset that we were still not satisfied with his half-hearted band-aid fix, he rudely told the cashier that if that wasn't good enough, we could pay for all three meals, and walked away.
This is a resturaunt that we frequently visit after the gym, and usually have a good experience. After today's fiasco, we will NE

Today I went to Buffet Palace for the 1st time. The menu that they have was great, you will get a lot of alternatives to choose from, the service is good and the prices are even better..
